Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of vantar.xyz, the Nuro SDK, and Vantar Cloud (collectively, "Services"), operated by Vantar Group LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Vantar", "we", "us"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Vantar provides the following services: — Nuro SDK: an open-source Python library for spiking neural networks, licensed under Apache 2.0 and available at github.com/Vantar-AI/nuro. Use of the SDK is governed by the Apache 2.0 license, not these Terms. — Vantar Cloud: a managed API for compiling and executing spiking neural networks on neuromorphic hardware (Intel Loihi 2, SpiNNaker 2). Currently in beta. — Vantar Dev Kit: hardware product in early development. Interest-list signup only at this time. — vantar.xyz website: informational website and waitlist.

Vantar Cloud access is provided via API keys. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential and for all activity that occurs under your key. Notify us immediately at hello@vantar.xyz if you suspect unauthorized use. We reserve the right to revoke API keys at any time for violations of these Terms.

You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not: — Use the Services to develop weapons, conduct illegal surveillance, or violate any applicable law — Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure — Resell or redistribute access to Vantar Cloud without written permission — Abuse the free tier to circumvent paid tier limitations — Submit networks containing malicious payloads or code We reserve the right to suspend access for violations without notice.

The Nuro SDK is open-source (Apache 2.0). You retain ownership of any networks, weights, and code you create using Nuro. Vantar Cloud infrastructure, the Vantar website, and all Vantar branding are proprietary to Vantar Group LLC. You may not use the Vantar name, logo, or trademarks without written permission. Data you submit to Vantar Cloud (IRGraphs, weights) is processed on your behalf and is not used to train models or shared with third parties.

Vantar Cloud is currently in free beta. We will provide at least 30 days notice before introducing paid tiers. Pricing, when introduced, will be as displayed at vantar.xyz/cloud. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active users.

Vantar Cloud is provided in beta without uptime guarantees. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available but do not offer SLAs during the beta period. Planned maintenance will be communicated via email when possible. Hardware availability (Loihi 2, SpiNNaker 2) depends on third-party hardware programs (INRC, SpiNNcloud) and may be subject to availability constraints outside our control.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. VANTAR GROUP LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VANTAR GROUP LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
